  • 1 =
    • Player holds on one leg
    • Performs 10 volleys before changing the standing leg
    • Repeating on both sides
  • 2 =
    • Player starts by performing a volley
    • Then work both feet over the hurdles
    • Make harder by asking the player to perform single leg hops over the hurdles.

Duration: 15% (9 mins / 14 mins)
  • Player starts by knocking the ball out of their feet and carrying up to the top of the channel.
  • Coach runs behind the player adding pressure from behind
  • Player then performs anAttacking Move to escape the pressure, before passing into a mini goal
  • The player should complete a set escaping to their strong side, and then their weak side for technical balance

Duration: 15% (9 mins / 14 mins)
  • Same as before
  • However, the player can now escape either side and once they do, they should look up to the awareness tool.
  • You should use the “Colour” awareness tool.
  • The player should pass into the mini-goal, based on which colour is shown on the awareness tool

Duration: 20% (12 mins / 18 mins)
  • Coach starts by passing the ball up the channel
  • The player then gets in between the ball and the coach and performs an Attacking Move to escape
  • Once the player has escaped the pressure then they can finish.
  • The coach should apply match-realistic pressure
