  • The player will accelerate to the top of the box.
  • The coach will then play a bounce pass with the player.
  • The coach will call “white / black”.
  • The player runs in front of the marker called, whilst facing the ball, then accelerate diagonally to the bottom marker.

  • Player performs a countermovement away from the mannequin.
  • Player receives on the back foot, taking it beyond the mannequin with their first touch.
  • Player dribbles around the pole and plays a pass back into the coach.
  • Perform 3 sets, thinking about the technical balance framework.

  • Player performs a countermovement away from the mannequin.
  • Player scans the awareness tool (use the arrow training tool)
    • Arrow pointing left = dribble around the pole.
    • Arrow pointing right = pass into the target.
  • Mirror the practice for technical balance.

Duration: 20% (12 mins / 18 mins)
  • Player bounces with the coach.
  • On command the player opens to the right or left.
  • The coach passes into the player and presses.
  • Player aims to touch beyond the pressure before finishing.
