  • Remember to work both sides for technical balance

  • Start with a bounce pass.
  • Coach calls a colour for the player to move towards.
  • Player checks towards the colour called and then back to the centre.
  • Player should bounce pass using alternate feet for technical balance.
  • Work for 45 seconds.

  • 1 = low driven pass into the coach
  • 2 = short bounce pass
  • 3 = movement away on an angle and bounce pass into the wall
  • 4 = pass back to the coach

  • Same as before but as player moves away, they should scan the awareness tool.
  • Use “Pressure / Space” awareness tool.
  • “Pressure” = pass back to the coach
  • “Space” = turn and dribble to the bottom of the area, perform a Change of Direction move and pass back to the coach.

Duration: 20% (12 mins / 18 mins)
  • Player starts with a low driven pass into the coach then follows their pass.
  • Coach bounce passes back to the player.
  • Player bounce passes into the wall and receives on the half-turn to finish.
